Qalamos Heritage Studies is published by the Foundation of Qalam for Knowledge Production. The journal is established to bridge the distance between traditional descriptive heritage reporting and contemporary critical and interdisciplinary approaches.

Qalamos publishes original scholarship that contributes to both academic knowledge and wider heritage debates. The journal supports research across multiple scales—from site-based and object-based studies to regional and comparative syntheses—and across multiple evidentiary traditions, including material culture, built heritage, textual corpora, inscriptions, manuscripts, and scientific analyses.
