Qalamos Heritage Studies (Semi-Annual, Peer-Reviewed)

Qalamos Heritage Studies invites researchers, academics, and early-career scholars to submit original, high-quality manuscripts for upcoming issues. The journal is dedicated to advancing innovative scholarship in Heritage Studies across the Mediterranean basin and the Middle East, welcoming interdisciplinary work that bridges the humanities, social sciences, and heritage sciences.

  • Heritage studies and cultural history

Invitation to Join the Editorial Board & Advisory Board

In parallel with the call for papers, Qalamos Heritage Studies is expanding its academic community and warmly invites qualified scholars to join:

1) Editorial Board

Ideal for researchers with publishing and reviewing experience who are interested in:

  • Peer-review support and editorial decision-making

  • Guest editing special issues and thematic sections

  • Promoting research quality and ethical publishing standards

2) Advisory Board

Ideal for senior scholars and established experts who can contribute to:

  • Strategic guidance on the journal’s scope and development

  • Enhancing international partnerships and scholarly outreach

  • Supporting the journal’s long-term academic direction

Eligibility (recommended)

  • A strong publication record in relevant fields

  • Peer-review experience (for Editorial Board roles)

  • Commitment to academic integrity, timeliness, and constructive feedback

  • International and interdisciplinary perspectives are especially welcome

How to Submit or Apply

Researchers may submit manuscripts and/or express interest in joining the Editorial Board or Advisory Board by contacting the journal and providing:

  • A short academic CV (1–2 pages)

  • A brief statement of interest (role requested: Editorial Board / Advisory Board)

  • Key areas of expertise (keywords)

  • ORCID/Scopus/Google Scholar link (optional but helpful)
